Sonic Summary

We are seeking a Category Manager to work in the defence sector with a hybrid working model based in Reading.
The ideal candidate should possess a proven background in Commercial Management, specifically in Category Management and Category Strategies within the Defence, Nuclear, or Central Government sectors.
Key experiences required include Strategic Sourcing, Supplier Relationship Management, and Contract Management, along with familiarity in public sector end-to-end procurement processes.
Experience with the Procurement Act 2023 and PCR 2015, as well as NEC 3/4 Contract Management, is desired, along with a CIPS Certification.
The position offers a competitive salary, and candidates should ideally have several years of relevant experience in the field.

Essential Skills: The ideal candidates will have a proven Commercial Management background, with the following skills/ experience:

Experience in Category Management & Category Strategies within the Defence, Nuclear or Central Government.

Experience in Public sector, End-to-end Procurement processes
