Are you an Electrical Design Engineer with a couple of years' experience looking for more variety, flexibility and the chance to grow with a business on a strong upward trajectory? This is an excellent opportunity to join a Reading-based consultancy offering remote working and exposure to a broad mix of building services and infrastructure projects.
Following an exceptional last two years, the business is expanding its MEP capability and is looking to grow the team significantly. You'll be joining a close-knit MEP team of four, with plans to double in size this year, giving you the opportunity to develop quickly alongside a growing workload.

The Role
As an Electrical Design Engineer, you'll be involved in the design and delivery of electrical systems across a wide range of project types, gaining valuable experience in both building services and infrastructure-led schemes.
You'll be working on projects including:
路Residential and commercial developments
路Data centres and industrial facilities
路Wider infrastructure and utility-related design work
Your responsibilities will include:
路Producing electrical designs from concept through to detailed stages
路Supporting project delivery across building services and infrastructure projects
路Working collaboratively with mechanical engineers and other disciplines
路Preparing calculations, specifications and technical drawings
路Attending meetings and occasional site visits as required
路Developing your technical capability with support from senior engineers

What They're Looking For
路2-4 years' experience as an Electrical Design Engineer
路Background in building services design (infrastructure exposure beneficial but not essential)
路Experience working within a consultancy environment
路Solid understanding of UK standards and regulations
路A proactive attitude and desire to learn and develop
路Strong communication skills and ability to work remotely as part of a team
