Job Title: Engineering Geologist
Salary: 35,000

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an Engineering Geologist to join a well-established ground investigation consultancy in Reading. This role offers the chance to work on a variety of projects, both on-site and in the office, ranging in complexity and providing excellent opportunities to broaden your experience and skillset.

Key Responsibilities:
- Designing and planning ground investigations
- Conducting Phase 1 desk studies
- Writing interpretative geotechnical reports
- Carrying out geotechnical risk assessments
- Soil sampling and groundwater monitoring
- Liaising with clients and project teams
- Supporting and mentoring junior engineers while learning from senior and principal engineers

Requirements:
- Degree in Civil Engineering, Geology, or a related discipline
- Experience in ground investigation
- Reside within a commutable distance to Reading
- Full UK driving licence
