My well known Client is urgently recruiting for a highly motivated and experienced Clerk of Works to join their team and ensure the highest standards of quality and compliance across our construction projects. You'll play a key role in safeguarding quality and workmanship, acting as our eyes and ears on-site, and ensuring work is completed to the required specifications, standards, and regulations.
Key Responsibilities-
Monitor construction work on-site to ensure compliance with drawings, specifications, and building regulations.

Report on quality of materials and workmanship, identifying any issues or deviations.

Prepare detailed site inspection reports and maintain accurate records.

Liaise with contractors, site staff, engineers, architects, and clients.

Attend site meetings and progress reviews.

Monitor health and safety practices on-site.

Support snagging, handover, and defect resolution processes.

Proven experience as a Clerk of Works or similar quality/site inspection role.

A keen eye for detail and strong technical knowledge of construction practices.

Good understanding of relevant legislation and regulations (e.g. Building Regulations, CDM).

Excellent communication and reporting skills.

Relevant qualifications (e.g. ICWCI, CIOB, NVQ, or HNC/HND in Construction or Building Studies) desirable.

CSCS card and full driving licence preferred.
