Sonic Summary

We are seeking an Electrician for a temporary position in the Reading area, focusing on EICR tests, repairs, and maintenance within social housing.
The role offers an initial pay rate of £25 per hour, which equates to an annual salary of £40,000 after probation.
Candidates must have experience in electrical testing and working on social housing contracts, along with a full UK driving license and a clear criminal record.
The Electrician will be responsible for completing EICR tests, signing off electrical tests, and addressing urgent faults while communicating with tenants.
A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience and qualifications such as the 18th edition and 2391 or equivalent are required for this position.

We are currently looking for an Electrician to work around the Reading area on EICR's, repairs and maintenance within social housing. This role will start temporary at 25p/h with the opportunity to go on the books

The Electrician will have to complete 3 tests a day using their skillset and they will be responsible for:

Completing EICR tests of full property's
Signing off electrical tests
Fault finding and fixing urgent C1 and C2 faults
Communicating and liaising with tenants
Travelling to different sites to conduct electrical tests

I am looking to speak to a Electrician who:

Has experience doing electrical testing
Has experience working on social housing contracts
Has a full UK driving license
Has a clear criminal record (DBS checks will be required)
Have a 18th edition and 2391 or equivalent

In return, the Electrician will receive:

25 per hour - 40,000 annually
Company van and fuel card
Permanent position on offer after 12 weeks with salary 40,000 after probation
