Qualified Electrician - Renewable Energy / Solar PV (Reading)

The Role:
You will play a key part in delivering renewable energy solutions, including solar PV systems, working across domestic and/or commercial sites in and arround Leamington Spa.
Key responsibilities:
- Install, test, and commission solar PV systems
- Work confidently with AC/DC circuits, inverters, isolators, and remote monitoring systems
- Read and interpret electrical schematics and technical drawings
- Diagnose faults and perform repairs or maintenance as needed
- Ensure compliance with UK building regs and DNO (Distribution Network Operator) requirements
- Adhere to all Health & Safety regulations, risk assessments, and RAMS
- Report any unsafe appliances, installations, or practices
- Operate tools and equipment safely and correctly
- Travel regionally (or nationally if required)
- Work occasional overtime or weekends when necessary
Requirements:
- Completed a recognised electrical apprenticeship or hold appropriate full electrical qualifications (Essential)
- 18th Edition IEE Wiring Regulations qualification (Essential)
- ECS Gold Card (Essential)
- Full UK driving licence with no more than 6 points
