What will you be doing?
Leading the engineering function across multiple disciplines
Setting direction, priorities and standards for engineering delivery
Working as part of the senior leadership team to support business strategy
Ensuring engineering capability, capacity and compliance across projects
Overseeing engineering resources, recruitment, training and succession planning
Driving continuous improvement of engineering processes and governance
Acting as the senior engineering interface for clients, partners and bids
Managing engineering risk and contributing to wider business risk management
Where you'll be doing it
You'll be joining a well-established engineering business delivering complex projects in the Nuclear / Defence industry. Their work spans the full project lifecycle, from consultancy and design through to installation, refurbishment and decommissioning, supported by specialist facilities and multidisciplinary teams across the UK.
What you'll need
Degree-qualified in an engineering or technical discipline (or equivalent)
At least 5 years' experience in a senior engineering role within a regulated industry
Strong background leading multi-disciplinary engineering teams
Experience aligning engineering strategy with wider business objectives
Proven ability to manage compliance, governance and engineering risk
Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills
Experience supporting bids, tenders or business-winning activities
