About the Role

We're recruiting for a skilled Fire & Security Engineer to join a forward thinking integrator known for working with high-profile clients such as universities, government bodies, and historical sites. You'll be involved in installations, servicing, fault-finding, and technical support across fire, intruder, CCTV, access control, and related systems.

You'll also have the opportunity to branch into smart home automation projects if you have the aptitude and interest, expanding your skills in high-end, integrated technology.

Key Responsibilities

Install, commission, service, and maintain systems such as Fire Alarms, Intruder Alarms, CCTV, Access Control, PAVA, Door Entry, and perimeter security
Provide technical advice and support, especially during sales and handovers
Conduct site surveys and produce design drawings for the sales team
Ensure compliance with relevant standards (e.g. NSI Gold, British/European norms)
Produce and maintain installation records, servicing paperwork, and system documentation
Perform fault-finding and repairs across a variety of systems
Assist with smart home or integrated automation work when required
Contribute to continuous improvement, self-learning, and upholding company values

What We're Looking For

Proven background in Fire & Security systems (installation, servicing, troubleshooting)
Strong electrical aptitude and competence
Familiarity with IP networking (preferred)
Knowledge of relevant British/European standards and NSI Gold processes
Good problem-solving and decision-making skills
Ability to work well in a team and communicate clearly
Willingness to adapt and take on cross-disciplinary work (e.g., smart home)
Valid UK driving licence
