The HR Business Partner will play a critical role in developing and implementing the HR strategy in alignment with the organisation's overall mission. This is a on-site position, Monday - Friday in West Berkshire. You may have the opportunity to work from home as and when needed, but hybrid working is not offered on a weekly basis due to the nature of the role.

Client Details

This opportunity will see you working in beautiful grounds, with your time split across one of the UKs leading independent boarding schools and the associated prep school. You'll be joining a team of 5 in HR and reporting directly to the Head of HR. This is a pivotal time for the People team, and you'll have the opportunity to get involved in a range of projects, whilst continuing to support the schools with day to day activities.

Description

The HR Business Partner will:

  • Support the development and implementation of HR initiatives and systems
  • Provide advice on policies and procedures
  • Be actively involved in recruitment by preparing job descriptions, posting ads and managing the hiring process
  • Create and implement effective onboarding plans
  • Develop training and development programmes
  • Assist in performance management processes
  • Support the management of disciplinary and grievance issues

Profile

A successful HR Business Partner should have:

  • Proven experience as an HR Business Partner
  • Solid knowledge of HR functions (pay & benefits, recruitment, training & development etc.)
  • CIPD Level 5

Experience within an education setting would be preferred but isn't essential - so please apply if you're an HRBP considering an industry change!
