We are pleased to be working with a Professional Services firm based in Berkshire, who are looking to hire a skilled and experienced Finance Director to oversee all financial operations. This role involves managing budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes, ensuring regulatory compliance, and supporting the firm's growth. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, contributing significantly to the firm's sustainability and success.
What you'll do:
- Work closely with the Senior Leadership Team to set budgets, analyse variances/profitability and drive business growth
- Evaluate investment opportunities when appropriate, and support at Board meetings from a financial perspective
- Manage and oversee accounting records and processes, and handle any financial issues and queries from management
- Ensure day-to-day compliance with relevant financial regulations
- Coordinate year-end audit process and plan for upcoming tax liabilities
- Assist in developing long-term financial strategies to meet business objectives
What you bring:
The ideal candidate for this Finance Director role brings a wealth of experience in financial leadership roles, specifically within Professional Services environments, in addition to:
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or equivalent)
- Extensive experience in financial leadership roles
- Strong knowledge of financial regulations and reporting standards
- Experience with client accounting systems and financial software packages
