Counterbalance Forklift Driver - Night Shift (Permanent)
Location: ReadingHours: 18:00 - 04:00Salary: £30,000 - £33,000 per annum
Our client is looking for an experienced Counterbalance Forklift Driver to join their team on a permanent basis, working night shifts in a fast-paced warehouse environment. This is a great opportunity for a skilled forklift operator to secure a stable role with a competitive salary.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operating a counterbalance forklift to move, stack, and transport goods safely and efficiently
- Loading and unloading delivery vehicles
- Handling stock with care and ensuring accurate placement in designated areas
- Assisting with stock control, order picking, and inventory checks
- Conducting pre-use inspections of equipment and reporting any faults
- Maintaining a clean and organised working environment
- Adhering to all health and safety regulations and company policies
Requirements:
- Valid and in-date Counterbalance Forklift licence
- Previous experience operating a counterbalance forklift in a warehouse or logistics environment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good time management skills and ability to work night shifts
