We have an exciting opportunity working as an Implant Client based Forwarder, for a client based in Reading.
The role is to provide a freight forwarding service and related customer support, direct on a client site.This is a standalone role, so someone self-motivated, dedicated to the clients needs. Training will be given, ideally our client is looking for someone with Export Courier experience or our client will look at someone with a strong administration background keen to learn.
Role Involves:路 Completion of end-to-end forwarding activities as the individual roles requires.路 Completion of Dangerous Goods paperwork for all modes of transportation.路 Work closely with internal and external customers.路 Focus on customer service.路 To organise transport by Air, Road and Sea.路 Use of Next Gen/MD office as requested.路 Ensure invoicing, job costing, CIA, Netting and milestone are updated within the required timeframe.路 Month end department compliance.路 Customs Entries.路 Cost Control.路 Assist senior forwarders, Supervisor and line Manager when required.路 Ensure all reports including internal and customer specific are completed within the deadline.路 Resolve queries from customers and suppliers.路 Ensure Best Practice models are adopted.路 Work closely with the Operations Manager for internal and external rates reviews.路 Remain in contact with customers and suppliers to maintain relationships.路 To take part in customer reviews when required to build up visibility and relationships with customers.路 Assist sales and management with customer development. 路 Operate within companies QA systems.
Monday to Friday. 9am-5.30pm Salary depends on experience.
