As a PE Teacher in Reading, you'll have the chance to teach a diverse range of students and lead engaging lessons in both practical and theory aspects of physical education. Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver high-quality PE lessons to students of various age groups and abilities.
  • Promote a love for physical activity, health, and fitness, encouraging student participation and engagement.
  • Assess and track students' progress, providing feedback and support to help them achieve their best.
  • Maintain high standards of behaviour in the classroom and during practical sessions.

  • Work collaboratively with colleagues in the PE department to enhance the curriculum and share best practices.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Qualified teacher status (QTS) and a degree in PE or a related subject.
  • Passionate about physical education and helping students succeed.
  • Previous teaching experience in PE is desirable but not essential.
  • Strong classroom management skills and the ability to inspire and motivate students.
  • A proactive and enthusiastic approach to teaching, with the ability to adapt lessons to suit different learning styles.
