Adecco are currently recruiting for a proactive and detail-oriented Sales Administrator to join our client's team based in Aldermaston. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong administrative and communication skills who enjoys working in a busy, customer-focused environment.

Sales AdministratorLocation: Aldermaston (You must be able to drive and have access to your own vehicle to get to this location)Salary: £25,000 - £27,000 (depending on experience)Hours: Monday to Friday, Office-Based

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process Web Orders: Accurately handle customer orders placed online.
  • Raise Proformas: Prepare and issue proforma invoices as required.
  • Verify Customer Accounts: Ensure all customer details and accounts are valid and up to date before processing orders.
  • Invoice Processing: Use Sage to raise and manage invoices in a timely manner.
  • Shipment Checks: Monitor shipments to ensure timely dispatch and delivery.
  • Customer Communication: Handle inbound and outbound calls and emails, providing outstanding service.
  • Returns & Complaints: Process returns and effectively handle any customer complaints or issues.
  • General Administration: Assist with additional administrative tasks to support the sales process.

Requirements:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational abilities.
  • Experience using Sage or similar accounting software is preferred.
  • Previous experience in a sales admin or customer service-based role is desirable.
