Aston Education is looking for a dynamic full-time SENCO for a Good 2-form entry primary school in Reading starting as soon as possible.
As the SENCO, it will be your responsibility to lead, develop and support the SEND provision for children with special educational needs and disabilities across the ages of 4-11 years.
You will have experience working as a SENCO in a mainstream primary school and have up-to-date and relevant SEND knowledge. You hold the National Award for SEN Co-ordination (NASENCO) qualification and have a Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
The school’s Ofsted report says that pupils who have special educational needs (SEN) and/or disabilities are quickly identified and supported well. Leaders work with external agencies and parents to identify pupils’ needs and create bespoke plans to remove their barriers to learning. These pupils make strong progress.
