Description

As the Total Rewards Manager Europe for this company in Berkshire/M4 corridor, in this newly created role you will set up, build out and manage day-to-day the Total Reward framework and processes for the European region.

This is a standalone, individual contributor role. As such the role will be a healthy mix of both strategic and hands-on operational Reward activities.

The European piece is very much like a start-up within a broader established framework.

In partnership with the COE's, you will lead compensation & benefits projects, and develop, communicate, and implement innovative solutions for effective total rewards strategies and programs, with a focus on the European market.

Total Rewards:

  • Lead total rewards (compensation & benefits) analysis, evaluation, and recommendations using market insights and industry trends.
  • Conduct market studies and analysis to evolve the Company's compensation & benefits philosophy, ensuring total rewards programs are externally competitive and internally equitable.
  • Collaborate with the Sr. Director, HR, - EMEA, Director, Compensation, Director, Employee Benefits and the HR Business Partners to deliver seamless support to the business, ensuring that compensation and benefits decisions are aligned with the Company's total rewards philosophy and local requirements.
  • Maximise participation in compensation and benefits surveys to ensure overall competitive positioning.
  • Develop creative methods for compiling and preparing data for analyses, including designing dashboards, reports and tools for compensation and benefits analytics and recommendations.
  • Present compensation and benefits recommendations to Sr Leadership.
  • Develop, implement, and administer compensation and benefits policies and programs.

Compensation:

  • Oversee the Company's annual compensation review process for international employees, to include developing requirements and guidelines, designing and configuring compensation planning system, delivering manager training, ensuring internal pay equity.
  • Partner with the HR Compensation team to complete the annual assessment and modelling of base pay, bonus, and stock programs; recommend budget requirements.
  • Expand international job architecture for new business requirements.
  • Create new job families and job profiles to support business growth and recruitment plan; includes market pricing and aligning to compensation structures.
  • Conduct modelling, statistical analysis and costing of base, incentive, and stock programs for guidance in impactful distribution of rewards.
  • Lead compensation analyses for international roles, maximising the PayFactors platform for survey submissions, salary structure alignment to market, and compensation analytics.
  • Participate in the Annual Pay Equity Study to ensure global equitable pay.

Benefits:

  • Reviews and analyses benefit plan renewals and assesses recommendations from broker/plan advisor/vendors.
  • Manages responsibilities associated with plan compliance and plan audit requirements with brokers/vendors, legislative, and regulatory compliance agencies.
  • Partners with the HR Benefits team and broker to ensure all benefit plan documents, summary plan descriptions, information brochures, and related materials are accurate, current and communicated on time for all benefits programs.
  • Leads in the planning and execution of benefits education activities and events, including but not limited to education sessions, email/newsletter correspondence, and knowledge base articles.
  • Maintains employee benefit enrolment data within HRIS/benefits system and/or HR filing system; ensures all employee elections are provided to the corresponding benefit carriers, and all payroll deductions are communicated to the payroll team for accurate payroll processing.

This role offers hybrid working (1-2 days per week in the office). This will initially be from a shared collaboration space along the M4 corridor/Slough area.

You must be able to get into West London occasionally too.

Profile

  • Total Reward experience within Medical Devices, MedTech or Pharma would be highly advantageous.
  • Knowledge of European employment laws as they pertain to compensation and benefits administration.
  • Excellent analytical skills to effectively analyse data and create meaningful, understandable models, reports, metrics, and charts.
  • Experience with HRIS software, Excel and reporting. Workday and Pay Factors experience preferred.
