- Function as main point of contact in TW for senior political stakeholders on local issues
- Build upon existing and identify new political relationships
- Provide insights and advice on effective engagement to senior leaders
- Support the incident communication function to keep stakeholders informed
- Provide clear leadership to the rest of the London Stakeholder Engagement Team  Â
- Significant experience engaging with stakeholders, particularly within local government
- Able to demonstrate clear leadership experience
- Experience advising colleagues, up to and including at the Executive level, on successful engagement
- Experience of external engagement, ideally in a regulated sector, coupled with a strong understanding of our external environment and the positions of key stakeholders
- Excellent written communication skills, including writing for a variety of channels and audiences.
- Very strong verbal communication skills, including presenting to internal and external audiences.
- The ability to build strong relationships and challenge accepted approaches
- Effective collaboration and the ability to work well with others from diverse disciplines
- Competitive salary from £45,000 - £55,000 per annum depending on experience
- Annual Leave - 26 days holiday per year, increasing to 30 with the length of service. (Plus bank holidays)
