Are you an experienced HR professional with a passion for supporting operational teams? We’re looking for a confident and capable Senior HR Advisor to join the team for a Local Authority on interim basis.

This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real impact in a fast-paced, hands-on environment, supporting a blue-collar workforce and working closely with trade unions.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Advising managers and supervisors on all people-related matters
  • Managing complex employee relations cases (grievances, disputes, disciplinaries)
  • Supporting restructures, redundancies, TUPE processes, and organisational change
  • Providing expert guidance on employment law, policy, and best practice
  • Acting as HR lead during formal hearings and investigations

What We’re Looking For:

  • Strong HR advisory experience within a Local Authority or Housing Association
  • A solid understanding of blue-collar operational environments and trade union dynamics
  • Confident handling of complex ER cases and change management
  • Up-to-date knowledge of UK employment law
  • A proactive, collaborative, and solutions-focused approach
