We are seeking an interim Senior HR Advisor for an initial period of 4 months to work with our Housing Repairs team. This role is crucial for supporting managers and supervisors with all people-related issues in a dynamic environment.
Day-to-day of the role:- Provide comprehensive HR support to managers and supervisors, addressing grievances, disputes, restructures, redundancy, and disciplinary hearings.
- Offer advice on employment policy and practice related to organisational change, performance management, and ill healthÂ
- Act as an adviser to management on employment law and policy during disciplinary hearings and/or investigations.
- Navigate the complexities of working with  workforce and trade unions within a Local Authority/Housing Association context.
- Proven experience as an HR Advisor, ideally within a Local Authority or Housing Association.
- Strong understanding of employment law and HR best practices.
- Experience dealing with a blue-collar workforce and trade unions.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to handle complex HR issues in an operational field.
