IT Technical Support Analyst Reading £28,000 + Excellent Benefits

Are you passionate about technology and eager to grow your career in IT and Application Support? We're looking for a driven and enthusiastic IT Technical Support Analyst to join a collaborative and forward-thinking team based in Reading, with hybrid working options.

What You'll Be Doing:
  • Providing first-line technical support and delivering a world-class customer service experience
  • Logging, prioritising, and resolving incidents and service requests efficiently
  • Collaborating with 2nd Line, DevOps, and Engineering teams to investigate and resolve technical issues
  • Contributing to the internal knowledge base to enhance first-line fault resolution
  • Supporting internal users and ensuring smooth operation of IT systems
What We're Looking For:
  • Strong communication skills and a keen eye for detail
  • Previous experience in a technical service desk or IT support role
  • A genuine interest in Application Support or Software Development career paths
  • Analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving abilities
  • Willingness to take ownership and see issues through to resolution
  • Minimum A-level education or equivalent
Desirable (but not essential):
  • CompTIA A+ or similar certification
  • ITIL v3/v4 Foundation
  • Basic troubleshooting skills in Windows, networking (LAN/WAN, IPs), and IT security
  • Experience creating internal or customer-facing support documentation
