A leading, globally recognised property consultancy is seeking an ambitious and commercially minded Principal Town Planner to join their successful and expanding planning team in Reading. About the Role
The successful candidate will support a dynamic planning team, contributing to the delivery of planning advice for major residential, commercial, and mixed-use developments. You'll be involved in providing strategic planning guidance, managing client relationships, and leading on complex planning applications and appeals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a diverse portfolio of planning projects across various sectors

  • Deliver high-quality written reports and planning advice

  • Represent clients at planning committees, hearings, and public consultations

About You

  • MRTPI qualified with significant post-qualification experience

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills

  • A proactive, solutions-focused approach with commercial awareness
