Description
- Draft, review, negotiate and advise on commercial land related documents (including options, leases, underleases, licenses, deeds of variation and easements).
- Investigation of title and preparation of reports for internal stakeholders following review of title documents, pre-contract searches and replies to enquiries.
- Draft, review, negotiate and advise on a wide range of commercial contracts (including framework agreements, service level agreements, sub-contracts, EPC Agreements and Supply Agreements).
- Advise internal stakeholders on the risks and potential legal implications of matters which arise as part of the day-to-day running of the business (ensuring compliance with relevant laws, regulations and company policies).
- Stay updated on changes in relevant laws and regulations impacting the business and proactively advise the business on those changes.
- Work with external legal counsel to ensure matters are progressed efficiently and brought to a satisfactory conclusion.
Profile
A successful Legal Counsel should have:
- UK/IRE qualified 1 - 4 years PQE
- Proven experience in commercial property law
- Proficiency in contract negotiations
- Strong knowledge of the Energy & Natural Resources industry
- Excellent research skills
- Strong understanding of legal compliance and risk management
Job Offer
- A competitive salary within the range of £65,000 - £75,000 DOE
