Quality Manager - Construction and Refurbishment

£53k - £63k + Package - Permanent

We currently have a fantastic opportunity for a Quality Manager to join a specialist team delivering essential projects in a secure, high-profile environment.

This role is based on-site in Reading and is ideal for someone with a strong background in Quality Control within construction, especially in secured or regulated environments. You will provide expert technical guidance to project teams, ensuring facilities are delivered right first time, to the highest quality standards.

Your focus will be on supporting operational teams with proactive planning, carrying out inspections and audits, and leading continuous improvement based on data-driven insights. The position plays a vital role in driving quality outcomes and maintaining compliance with project specifications and client requirements.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • To support the project delivery team and supply chain with planning for an error free delivery of the facilities we build. Particularly through the creation and use of quality documentation, such as, Inspection and Test Plans.
  • Support the delivery team to achieve compliance against the specifications through the application of research and knowledge of Construction products, components and processes.
  • To undertake technical audits to monitor compliance and develop action plans to address any non-conformances.
  • Identify trends in non-conformance reports and develop strategy to address any issues arising.
  • Support site teams with expertise and guidance, in respect of project execution and quality plans

What We're Looking For:

  • Strong experience in Quality Control within construction environments

  • Previous work on projects in secured enviroments

  • Ability to research, interpret, and report on technical quality data and findings

  • A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with excellent communication and influencing skills
