An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Paralegal to join my clients Private Client team on a hybrid basis in their Reading offices.

The ideal candidate for this role will already have some experience within a Private Client matters such as Wills, Trusts & Probate.

You will be part of a small, friendly team and valued for your individual contribution with support to develop your skills and experience by offering training to the right person.

Role & Responsibilities:

• Manage new enquiries, client finances, budgets, and experts’ fees.• Ability to work unsupervised within scope of instructions/protocols from senior fee earners• Good verbal and written communication skills• Good interpersonal skills• Ability to work effectively in a team and independently• Excellent IT skills plus good knowledge of Microsoft Office (including Excel spreadsheets)• Assist with research• Opening of New Files• Assisting with the billing process including raising billing guides for fee earners and forwarding invoices to clients• Dealing with BACs forms for fee earners• Ensure work is maintained at a high level of quality throughout so as to promote the reputation of the firm

Skills, Attributes & Experience:

• Ability to work unsupervised within scope of instructions/protocols from senior fee earners• Good verbal and written communication skills• Good interpersonal skills• Ability to work effectively in a team and independently• Excellent IT skills plus good knowledge of Microsoft Office (including Excel spreadsheets)
