A growing UK food manufacturer is seeking an experienced and organised Dispatch Manager to lead its dispatch operations, ensuring the efficient, accurate, and timely distribution of products to retailers, businesses, and events across the country.
This is a key operational role within a fast-paced environment, ideal for a hands-on logistics professional with strong leadership and coordination skills.
Key Responsibilities:-
Oversee the day-to-day dispatch operation, ensuring orders are picked, packed, and shipped on time.

Manage a team of dispatch operatives, including rotas, training, and performance.

Coordinate with production, sales, and transport teams to align dispatch schedules and priorities.

Maintain accurate records of stock movements, deliveries, and dispatch documentation.

Ensure compliance with food safety, health & safety, and quality control standards.

Continuously review and improve dispatch processes for efficiency and accuracy.

Proven experience in a dispatch, warehouse, or logistics management role—ideally within food manufacturing or FMCG.

Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure.
