My Client based in Berkshire are looking for a Programme Manager for their IT Digital service team on an initial 9 month contract (with possible extensions) paying £500 PD Inside of IR35You will be working on a hybrid basis of which you will be expected to be on site in Berkshire You will be working in a busy team, of which you will be leading the programme for a purchasing refresh across a variety of digital and IT areas such as WAN, Telephony, End User Workspaces and Security Operations.You will
- Analyse data or insights to determine industry trends
- Devise long-term development strategies for product categories
- Develop exit strategies for unsuccessful vendors
- Foster relationships with vendors to achieve better pricing and quality of services
- Determine the positioning of a product category to maximize value for money
- Liaise with in-house teams and other councils to determine competitive pricing
- Collaborate with vendors
- Help in the revenue budget profiling for category
- Define effective key performance indicators for all categories.
- Lead negotiations on added value through social value and digital inclusion
You must have extensive experience of local authority employee and customer needs in the Digital and IT environment. You will need have a good technical understanding of each category in order to support the development of robust specifications for each of the areas. You will be expected to have a commercial mindset and full comprehension of public procurement regulations. You will be responsible for coordinating market engagement, finalising the specification, pricing and procurement of each category to maximise value for money and market appeal. You will also need to build relationships with existing and potential vendors throughout the process.PLEASE NOTE THIS POSITION IS INSIDE OF IR35 AND AS SUCH WILL YOU NEED TO BE ENGAGED VIA AN APPROVED MORGAN HUNT UMBRELLA COMPANY
