Job Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Logistics Sales Director to lead and scale our sales strategy in the logistics and supply chain sector. The ideal candidate will bring deep industry knowledge, a proven track record of driving revenue growth, and strong leadership capabilities. You will be responsible for developing strategic partnerships, leading a high-performing sales team, and achieving aggressive sales targets.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Sales Strategy & Execution:Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies to expand market presence, increase revenue, and drive sustainable growth across logistics services (e.g., global freight forwarding, road transport warehousing, last-mile delivery).

  • Team Leadership:Recruit, train, and manage a high-performing sales team. Set KPIs, provide mentorship, and foster a results-driven culture.

  • Key Account Management:Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders. Lead negotiations and close high-value deals.

  • Market Intelligence:Monitor market trends, customer needs, and competitor activity. Use insights to identify new business opportunities and adjust strategies accordingly.

  • Collaboration:Work cross-functionally with Operations, Marketing, and Finance teams to ensure seamless execution of logistics solutions.

  • Reporting & Forecasting:Provide accurate sales forecasts, reports, and performance analysis to the executive team. Use data to drive decision-making and optimize the sales funnel.

Requirements:
  • Ideally a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field; MBA is a plus.

  • 8-12 years of progressive sales experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within the logistics or transportation industry.

  • Proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets in B2B environments.

  • Strong understanding of logistics operations, market dynamics, and customer expectations.

  • Exceptional leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.

  • Experience working with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).

Preferred Skills:
  • Experience in international logistics or multimodal transport.

  • Strong industry network and relationships with key clients in sectors such as government, armed forces, pharmaceutical

  • Familiarity with digital logistics platforms and technologies.
