We're partnering with a UK-based manufacturing company. They're looking to bring on a Trainee Maintenance Engineer with either a mechanical or electrical background, though a willingness to work across both areas will be key. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone eager to develop their skills. You'll receive comprehensive training and hands-on development as you support the maintenance team with both planned and reactive tasks, help troubleshoot breakdowns, and assist on engineering projects aimed at improving system efficiency and tackling recurring technical issues.
Skills required for the Trainee Maintenance Engineer:
- Either mechanical or electrical background
- Must have a minimum Level 3 in engineering
- A genuine interest in engineering and improving manufacturing systems
- Knowledge of health and safety procedures within an industrial setting
- Good communication skills to work effectively within a team and with other departments
