This role would suit a Senior Mechanical Engineer from a Building Services background looking for an autonomous position in a leading consultancy, with clear progression through to Partner.The Role:
- Attend project meetings on and off site with clients, contractors and design team
- Carry out condition surveys, feasibility studies and report writing
- Carry out detailed scheme designs enabling competitive tenders to be obtained for the works
- Write specifications for the works
- Carry out calculations, both manual and by using computer based systems
- Provide budget costings and monitor finances of projects throughout all stages and ensure financial success
- Comment upon contractor's work / drawings and attend site progress meetings
