The Arcade Engineer will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of arcade, amusement, and gaming machines across multiple venues. The role requires strong technical ability, hands-on problem-solving, and excellent customer service to ensure machines are fully operational, safe, and delivering the best possible player experience. Covers multiple sites across Berkshire, Surrey, Hampshire and West London 40 hours a week, 2 week rota Week 1 Monday - Friday Week 2 - Monday-Wed and Sat & Sun

Responsibilities

  • Carry out diagnostics, fault-finding, and repairson a wide range of arcade and amusement machines (redemption, video, coin-mech etc.).

  • Undertake planned preventative maintenance (PPM)to minimise downtime

  • Install, configure, and test new machines on-site.

  • Manage spares, parts, and inventoryefficiently.

  • Work with site teams to ensure machines meet H&S and compliance standards.

  • Provide technical support and trainingto venue staffas required.

  • Keep accurate records of service visits and repairs via reporting systems.

Skills required

  • Ideally previous experience as an Arcade Engineer or vending industry.

  • Strong electromechanical fault-finding skills (PCB sensors).

  • Familiarity with both mechanical and digital systems. Excellent troubleshooting and customer-facing communication skills.
