We are delighted to be working on behalf of a wonderful Ofsted-Outstanding junior school in Reading, who are seeking a Year 4 Class Teacher to join their team from September 2025 on a maternity cover basis.

The Role:
As a Year 4 Class Teacher, you will:
Plan and deliver engaging, well-structured lessons aligned with the national curriculum
Set high expectations that inspire, motivate and challenge pupils
Track progress and adapt teaching to meet the diverse needs of all learners
Work collaboratively with colleagues and contribute to whole-school initiatives
Uphold the school's strong safeguarding and behaviour policies
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Experience teaching in Lower Key Stage 2, ideally Year 4
A strong understanding of how children learn and how to differentiate effectively
Excellent classroom practice and behaviour management
A team-player attitude and commitment to school life
