What You’ll Be Doing:

Join our team as a Paediatric Occupational Therapist and play a key role in improving the lives of children with complex needs in a supportive SEN school setting. In this role, you will:

  • Perform comprehensive assessments of students with a range of physical, sensory, and developmental needs
  • Create and implement personalised therapy programmes tailored to educational settings
  • Deliver evidence-based interventions to optimise students’ functional independence and participation in school life
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including teachers, support staff, speech and language therapists, and families
  • Maintain accurate and detailed clinical records in line with professional standards

Requirements & Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A current and valid HCPC registration
  • Experience working with children with complex needs, autism, sensory processing difficulties, and/or learning disabilities
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • The ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary school team
  • A commitment to delivering high-quality, child-centred care

Working Hours & Contract Duration:

This role offers a flexible part-time working arrangement within a well-established SEN school. Availability is required on agreed weekdays during term time. The contract is long-term with a strong possibility of extension based on service needs and performance.
