Are you a Band 8a GP Practice Based Pharmacist looking for a rewarding locum role in West London? We have an exciting opportunity for you!

  • Job Title: GP Practice Based Pharmacist 

  • Location: West London

  • Duration: Ongoing contract

  • Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9am - 5pm (30-minute break)

What You'll Be Doing:Join our client's team as a GP Practice Based Pharmacist and play a key role in supporting patients within the primary care setting. In this role, you will:

  • Improve the quality and effectiveness of medicines management within GP practices

  • Provide patient-focused, prudent healthcare

  • Promote medicines safety and conduct polypharmacy reviews

  • Collaborate with GPs, practice nurses, and practice staff

  • Develop your role as a core member of the practice team delivering integrated care

Requirements & Qualifications:To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A current and valid GPhC registration

  • Independent Prescriber status (required)

  • EMIS Web experience (required)

  • CPPE Primary Care Pharmacy Education Pathway (preferred)

  • Experience in primary care working with GP practices

  • Clinic-running experience (desirable)

  • Strong communication and clinical skills

  • A collaborative and proactive approach to patient care

Working Hours & Contract Duration:This role is full-time onsite, Monday to Friday, 9am - 5pm. The position is available from May with an ongoing contract and potential for long-term extension.
