We are delighted to be working on behalf of a wonderful Ofsted-Outstanding junior school in Reading, who are seeking a Year 4 Class Teacher to join their team from September 2025 on a maternity cover basis.

The Role:

As a Year 4 Class Teacher, you will:

  • Set high expectations that inspire, motivate and challenge pupils

  • Track progress and adapt teaching to meet the diverse needs of all learners

  • Work collaboratively with colleagues and contribute to whole-school initiatives

  • Uphold the school's strong safeguarding and behaviour policies

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

  • Experience teaching in Lower Key Stage 2, ideally Year 4

  • A strong understanding of how children learn and how to differentiate effectively

  • Excellent classroom practice and behaviour management

  • A team-player attitude and commitment to school life
