Job Title: Production Supervisor (Night Shift)

Salary: £40,000 (plus shift premium of £4600)
Shift: 10:30 PM 6:30 AM
Location: Reading

We're seeking a hands-on, motivated Night Shift Production Supervisor to lead a manufacturing team in delivering high-quality products safely and efficiently. This role is key to driving performance, maintaining high team morale, and supporting continuous improvement on the shop floor.

Key Responsibilities of Production Supervisor:

• Supervise and motivate team members to meet safety, quality, and productivity targets.
• Maintain a safe working environment and enforce health & safety policies.
• Lead daily Tier 2 meetings and manage production handovers.
• Train, develop, and coach employees to meet performance goals.
• Communicate effectively with other shifts and departments.
• Support ISO 9001 standards and lean manufacturing initiatives.
• Assist with manual tasks as needed and manage shift supplies.

The Production Supervisor should have the following skills and experience:

• Proven team leadership in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of lean, 6S, and continuous improvement practices.
• Proficient in MS Outlook, Word, Excel; ERP/MRP experience preferred.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and work in both office and production settings.
