My client is a civil engineering and construction contractor. They're looking to onboard a Project Managerto help deliver a civils scheme within the water treatmentsector. The scope of works you'll be responsible for overseeing will include tunneling and reinforced concrete works.
Project Manager responsibilities
- Develop detailed project plans, timelines, milestones, and resource allocations.
- Prepare project budgets, monitor expenditures, and implement cost-saving measures.
- Communicate with clients, contractors, consultants, regulatory bodies, and internal teams.
- Identify potential risks, develop mitigation plans, and ensure contingency strategies.
- Ensure that construction activities meet design specifications, standards, and regulations.
- Oversee procurement of materials, equipment, and subcontracted services.
- Ensure all work complies withnational regulations, permits, and environmental guidelines.
- Manage contracts, evaluate claims, negotiate changes, and ensure obligations are met.
- Prepare progress reports, technical documentation, and communicate updates to clients and senior management.
Project Manager requirements
- Right to work in the UK
- Black CSCS card
- SMSTS
- Thames Water Passport
- Full UK driving license
- Previous experience within the Civil engineeringsector
