Quantity Surveyor - M&E

Contract: Initial 6 Months
Up to 500/day (Umbrella PAYE)

We are seeking an experienced M&E-biased Quantity Surveyor to work on a major project at AWE, Reading, supporting a leading M&E contractor. This is a full-time, site-based role working from the site offices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Commercial management of M&E packages
- Cost control, forecasting, and reporting
- Interim valuations, applications for payment, and final accounts
- Managing variations and change control
- Subcontractor procurement and commercial administration
- Working within strict contractual and regulatory requirements
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor on M&E packages
- Experience working in highly regulated environments (nuclear, defence, pharma, data centres, hospitals, etc.)
- Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying or similar
- Chartered (MRICS/MCIOB) desirable
- Strong commercial and stakeholder management skills
- Must be eligible for SC clearance (holding it already is advantageous)
