Project Quantity Surveyor
We have an excellent opportunity for a Project Quantity Surveyor to join a leading tier 1 main contractor on an exciting scheme in Reading. The business operates across several sectors including student accommodation, commercial, defence and healthcare, valuing upwards of 100mil.
The project in Reading is valued circa 500mil, and with the works getting busier, they're now looking to expand the commercial team.
About the role of Quantity Surveyor:
As Quantity Surveyor, you will be working within a strong commercial team and report into the Commercial Manager. You will have the support of several Senior Quantity Surveyors.
Key Responsibilities as Quantity Surveyor:
- Manage sub-contract procurement
- Manage sub-contractors accounts on site, dealing with variations
- Manage monthly valuations and liaise with the client
- Deal with final accounts
Key Requirements for this Quantity Surveyor position:
- Have a HNC / construction related degree
- Have administered JCT / NEC forms of contract
- Must have the full right to work in the UK
- Must live within commutable distance to Reading.
