A Quantity Surveyor position is available with a highly regarded civils contractor in Berkshire, offering a salary of up to £65k plus a package.
The company, with a turnover of approximately £250m annually, is looking to expand and is currently managing projects valued up to £50m.
The successful candidate will assist the Project Commercial Manager on two schemes totaling £48m, which are part of a larger, multi-year project.
Candidates should have NEC experience, be degree qualified, and possess strong client interfacing skills, along with the ability to identify commercial opportunities.
A minimum of several years of relevant experience is required, and the position needs to be filled urgently as the project has recently commenced.

Highly regarded and respected specialist civils contractor seeks a Quantity Surveyor for a large, prestigious contract. The Company turnover is in the region of £250m per annum, with civils making up £100m, but with plans for major growth in the coming years. Project values range up to £50m, and they will operate as both a Tier 1 and 2.

About the Role:
The Quantity Surveyor will assistant the Project Commercial Manager on 2 schemes, valued together at £48m. both schemes form part of a wider, major project and growth spend on a scheme that has several years longevity in it. The specific works itself will involve RC, structures and general civils. The project has recently commenced, so the Quantity Surveyor position is required to be filled as soon as possible.

About You:

NEC experience
Able to take a package of work from inception through to completion
Good client interfacing skills
Ideally degree qualified
Able to spot commercial opportunity in a contract
Enjoy working within a dynamic environment
Be able to work well within a team that includes delivery and design teams
