Reporting to: Senior Quantity Surveyor
Project Quantity Surveyor role on a major construction project delivered under NEC4 Option C (Target Cost).
You’ll own the day-to-day commercial management of the project, controlling cost, change and applications, allowing the Senior QS to focus on strategy, recovery and senior negotiations.
This is a hands-on delivery role for a QS who is strong on Option C mechanics and change control.
Key Responsibilities-
Day-to-day commercial control under NEC4 Option C

Managing Defined Cost, CRF updates and forecasting

Leading EWNs, NCEs and Compensation Events via CEMAR

Coordinating CE pricing, records and submissions

Supporting and overseeing Assistant QS and QS commercial inputs
-
Preparing and supporting monthly applications for payment

Maintaining robust, audit-ready commercial records

Working closely with site, planning and engineering teams
Essential
-
Quantity Surveyor experience on complex construction or infrastructure projects
-
Strong NEC experience, ideally Option C
-
Confident managing change and cost in a target cost environment

Experience using CEMAR or similar NEC systems
Highly Desirable

M&E background from a Tier 1 or Tier 2 contractor

Infrastructure or civils QS with strong NEC Option C experience

Experience working in safety-critical / regulated environments

SC clearance held or obtainable
