Night Shift - Laboratory Technician
Training provided, 1st week will be training on days shifts (8am to 4pm)
We are looking for someone to work NIGHTS, 6.30PM to 6.30am every Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.
This is initially 4 - 6 weeks but may be extended due to business needs.
The Chemistry and Microbiology laboratories play a deeply important function within our manufacturing facility where we produce the whole range of Gillette shaving preps. Technicians have a meaningful role analysing raw materials, intermediates as well as finished product to demonstrate quality compliance and allow release of finished product. On a day-to-day level, this involves sampling, testing, calibration, and data analysis. But you'll also have wider responsibilities.

Qualifications, Skills, Knowledge and Experience: You'll have a degree in Microbiology or Chemistry, although we would consider a general science qualification with lab experience in a manufacturing setting
Play Your Part: You'll have analytical chemistry skills or experience within an analytical laboratory setting, and/or knowledge of microbiology (to include aseptic techniques, organism isolation and identification, manufacturing equipment clean design, bio safety, and microbiology lab operations. We are happy to consider you if you only have one of these two areas.

This role is for a 12-hour shift-based technician working NIGHTS only, averaging 36 hours a week. This role flows between both microbiology and chemistry labs, with working patterns subject to change.
