Maths Teacher - Full-Time - Reading, Berkshire
Start Date: ASAP

We are currently working with a well-regarded secondary school in Reading, Berkshire, who are seeking a passionate and dedicated Maths Teacher to join their team on a full-time basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a supportive and forward-thinking school environment where staff development and student success go hand in hand.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging and challenging Maths lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 (KS5 desirable but not essential)

  • Assess, track, and report on student progress in line with school policy

  • Create an inclusive classroom environment where all students are encouraged to achieve their potential

  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop schemes of work and share best practice

  • Participate in department meetings, school events, and ongoing professional development.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

  • Proven experience teaching Maths in a UK secondary school

  • Strong classroom management skills and subject knowledge

  • Must have the right to work in the UK

  • Must currently be residing in the UK to attend face-to-face interviews

  • Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
