Thames Valley School is a lovely SEN school for ASD, a forward-thinking and dynamic educational institution, is seeking a passionate and dedicated Science Teacher to our children. This is an exciting opportunity to shape the future of our students and drive forward the delivery of outstanding Maths education.

Summary of job-
- To be responsible for high quality autism specific education and development of a class / group of children with ASD.
- To work with pupils with complex needs in addition to autism spectrum disorder, such as ADHD, OCD and PDA
- To oversee and lead Maths teaching, planning and assessment outcomes
- To be responsible for planning implementing and delivering a personalised curriculum to individual children and groups that is relevant and motivating for each child.
- Ensure the quality of teaching and learning meets statutory requirements Ensure continuity across the curriculum and contribute to joint planning
- To work in a non-confrontational non-directive way to ensure individual needs are met.

Experience that is needed-
- Working with young people with ASD
- Working with young people with complex needs, including OCD, PDA, ADHD (desirable)
- Experience of successfully delivering a differentiated curriculum to pupils with a wide range of needs.
- A qualified teacher with a proven track record of success in Mathematics and/or Science education.
