Support Worker Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated, compassionate, and proactive Support Worker to join the care team of an individual living with Rett Syndrome.

Diagnosed at the age of 3, this person lives with a complex neurological condition that affects communication, memory, mobility, coordination, and other brain functions. They also underwent spinal surgery several years ago to correct scoliosis, during which two spinal rods were fitted to help straighten their spine.

Despite the challenges they face, they live a full and engaging life with the support of a caring team — and now, we’re looking for the right person to join that team.

About the Role:
As a Support Worker, you will provide one-to-one assistance tailored to the individual’s physical, emotional, and communication needs. This includes support with personal care, mobility, mealtime assistance, and helping them engage in meaningful activities at home and in the community.

Working hours: Alternate Saturday 9am -1pm, Every Sunday 9am-1pm.

We are looking for experienced staff who have previously worked with individuals with complex needs. 

This role does also require a clean driving licence as you will be required to transport the client in their own vehicle.
