Join our clients dedicated team as a Service Charge Officer in Basingstoke, where you will play a crucial role in managing service charge budgets and reconciliations. Day-to-day of the role:
- Calculate accurate service charge budgets for both existing homes and new developments.
- Perform detailed reconciliations of accounts, applying necessary adjustments.
- Produce clear and compliant service charge statements.
- Address and resolve customer queries effectively, whether over the phone or in writing.
- Analyse data to identify trends, correct discrepancies, and enhance financial accuracy.
- Maintain meticulous records to ensure all documentation is audit ready.
- Collaborate with various teams to streamline processes and enhance operational efficiency.
- Share expertise and provide guidance to team members, aiding in their professional development.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong proficiency in Excel and a high level of attention to detail.
- Previous experience in a similar role, ideally within the housing sector.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
- Strong communication skills, capable of explaining complex information in a clear manner.
- Customer-focused approach, able to maintain composure and professionalism in challenging situations.
- Team-oriented, contributing positively to a collaborative work environment.
