A friendly and supportive SEN school in Sonning is looking for a Behaviour Support Worker to work with students with Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs, Autism, ADHD, and trauma-related behaviours. This is a full-time, term-time position that offers practical, rewarding experience in a highly supportive environment.
The Behaviour Support Worker role is ideal for graduates in Criminology, Psychology, Counselling, or Education, or anyone with experience supporting vulnerable young people. This role involves working 1:1 and in small groups to support emotional regulation, de-escalate incidents, and build trusting relationships with pupils.

Key Responsibilities:
- Support the development of positive behaviour strategies
- Provide emotional and academic support inside and outside the classroom
- Implement behaviour plans and therapeutic interventions
- Help create a structured and safe environment for pupils to thrive
- Collaborate with teachers, SENCOs, and pastoral staff to ensure pupil progress
