A warm and inclusive SEN school in Reading is seeking a SEN Teaching Assistant to join their dedicated team. This is a full-time role supporting pupils aged with a range of learning needs, including Autism, ADHD, global developmental delay, and speech and language difficulties.
This opportunity is ideal for graduates in Psychology, Education, or related fields, or anyone with a passion for helping children overcome barriers to learning. As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will provide 1:1 and small group support, assist with lesson delivery, and play a vital role in promoting a calm and supportive classroom environment.
Key Details:
- Role: SEN Teaching Assistant
- Location: Reading
- Salary: 89-100 per day
- Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 am - 3:30 pm
- Start Date: ASAP
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide personalised academic and emotional support to students
- Assist with learning activities and adapt materials to suit individual needs
- Support communication and interaction using visual aids and strategies
