About the Role

As a Student Support Assistant, you'll work closely with young people and adults who have a range of needs, including learning difficulties, disabilities, and behavioural challenges. You'll help them access lessons, build their skills, and progress toward their personal and academic goals.You'll support students in a variety of sessions such as Life Skills programmes, GCSEs, and A-levels, with a focus on inclusion, empowerment, and engagement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide in-class support tailored to individual student needs
  • Encourage independent learning and active participation
  • Promote positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing
  • Communicate effectively with tutors and support staff to ensure high-quality provision
  • Help students develop confidence, resilience, and personal responsibility

This is a great opportunity for someone with a background in care, youth work, education, or support - or someone with the passion and empathy to help students succeed.
