A fantastic SEN school in Reading is looking for an inspiring and compassionate SEN Teacher to join their supportive team. This is a full-time, long-term opportunity, ideal for a qualified teacher who is committed to making a meaningful difference in the lives of children and young people with additional needs.
You will be teaching students with a range of needs, including Autism, ADHD, trauma, anxiety, and behavioural challenges. As an SEN Teacher, you'll create engaging and inclusive lessons, adapt learning materials to individual needs, and foster a nurturing, therapeutic classroom environment where every student can thrive.
Key Details:
- Role: SEN Teacher
- Location: Reading
- Salary: 32916 - 51048 per annum (+ SEN allowance)
- Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 am - 3:30 pm
- Start Date: ASAP
- Ideal for: Qualified Teachers (QTS or equivalent) with experience or interest in SEN
As an SEN Teacher, you will work closely with Teaching Assistants, Therapists, and Senior Leaders to deliver tailored learning and therapeutic interventions. You'll play a key role in supporting students' academic progress, emotional wellbeing, and social development.
