Are you an experienced Commissioning Manager with a strong background in verification, validation, and nuclear readiness? This is your opportunity to join a high-impact infrastructure project where your expertise in mechanical, electrical, process or I&C commissioning will directly support the UK's defence and nuclear operational capabilities.
Our client is delivering mission-critical projects in a highly regulated environment and is looking for a technically strong individual to lead commissioning processes from planning to operational handover.

Expectations and Skillsets:

  • Develop facility commissioning strategies and plans aligned with work breakdown structures and authorising commissioning schedules integrated into the overall project timeline.
  • Drive verification & validation (V&V) activities to ensure compliance and performance and overseeing safe execution of commissioning tests and ensure licence condition compliance (ONR LC21).
  • Collaborate with suppliers, site operations, and nuclear services to ensure seamless delivery and managing commissioning work packages, resources, and reporting.


What We're Looking For:

  • Honours degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent experience and expertise in mechanical, process, electrical, or instrumentation and control disciplines.
  • Demonstrable commissioning experience in nuclear, defence or other highly regulated sectors while showing strong project leadership and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • In-depth understanding of commissioning methodologies and the V-model.
  • Ability to lead cross-disciplinary teams and deliver under pressure and meet deadlines based on deliverable expectations within the project.


Desirable Experience:

  • Proven delivery in operational, military or nuclear environments and strong understanding of nuclear safety and site licence compliance.
  • Familiarity with the expectations of ONR and readiness assurance processes.
